Arry Pandher - June 28th, 2022
Queen’s offers a variety of financial aid programs to help students meet the costs of their education. Queen’s Financial Aid is available to full-time domestic and international students who demonstrate financial need. Queen’s also offers several awards and scholarships that do not require demonstrating financial need. The Queen’s Awards Office administers all entrance awards, in-course awards, and bursaries. These include Queen’s National Scholarships, Queen’s Chancellor’s Scholarships, and Departmental Awards.
Financial-Need Based Assitance at Queen’s
Queen’s offers a range of financial aid programs to help students meet their education costs. The Queen’s Financial Aid office provides need-based assistance through grants, loans, and work-study programs. Queen’s also offers several scholarships and bursaries to help cover the cost of tuition, books, and living expenses. In order to be considered for financial aid, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Queen’s will then review the student’s financial situation and determine whether they are eligible for need-based assistance. Queen’s is committed to making higher education accessible to all students, regardless of their financial situation.
Queen’s Admission Awards
Queen’s offers a range of Admission Awards to eligible students to help with the cost of their education. Queen’s Admission Awards are made possible through the generous support of their donors. Queen’s Financial Aid office works closely with the Queen’s Admissions office to administer these awards. The Queen’s Admission Awards program is designed to recognize academic achievement and to assist students with the cost of their Queen’s education. The majority of Queen’s Admission Awards are based on academic merit and are awarded at the time of admission. Some awards, like the Queen’s Chancellor’s Scholarship, are also based on demonstrated financial need. Other Queen’s Admission Awards, like the Queen’s Principal’s Scholarship, are based solely on academic merit.
