Written By Akim Hermoso and Matthew Tran
In 1852, Université Laval became the first building block for all French-language higher education in Québec, Canada, and North America. Université Laval’s Food Science and Technology Laboratory offers its students, researchers, and private companies a wide range of food processing equipment to test thermal, separation, concentration, and drying processes. Equipment for processing dairy, meat and plant products is available to laboratory users to design new products, purify molecules of interest or test innovative processes.
Pro Tip:
Because most courses offered at Université Laval are in French, you must have adequate knowledge of the language to attend UL. Make sure to pass the Test de connaissance du français (TCF) to increase your chance of getting admitted! 🚀 But don’t worry! Université Laval offers a variety of French-language services to help students improve their French!
