On a sunny day, you can see all the way to the US. Did you know? Volunteer Requirements in BC

In British Columbia, high school students can earn volunteer hours as part of their graduation requirements. Students are required to complete at least 30 hours of volunteer work to graduate. The volunteer work must be completed with a non-profit organization or a recognized community service organization. High school students can volunteer in a variety of different areas, such as healthcare, social services, and environmental causes.

When volunteering, you must keep track of their hours and ensure that they are fulfilling the requirements set by your school. You must also obtain a letter from the organization you volunteered with to confirm your hours. You must submit the letter to the school to receive credit.

It is important to notice that some organizations may have age restrictions or require specific skills or training for volunteers. It is important to research their options and find an organization that matches their interests and skills. Overall, volunteering is a great way to gain valuable experience and contribute to your community.
