UofT Residences: Overview

UofT residences are located on the St. George campus and provide a unique community experience for students. There are a variety of UofT residences to choose from, each with its amenities and services. UofT residences are more than just a place to live – they’re a community where you’ll make lasting friendships and memories. Whether you’re looking for a traditional residence experience or something more modern, UofT has a residence that’s right for you.
Residences at UofT
The University of Toronto has a wide variety of residences to suit the needs of its students. The six most popular residences include Chestnut, Innis, New College, St. Michael’s College, Trinity College, and University College. From traditional dormitories to apartments and townhouses, there is something for everyone. The residence system is designed to provide a supportive and inclusive community for all students. Each residence has its own staff, including Resident Assistants who are available to provide support and assistance. In addition, all residences have common areas where students can socialize and study. The University of Toronto also offers a number of unique living options, such as co-operative houses and gender-neutral residences. Whatever your need, there is sure to be a residence that is right for you.
Graduate Students
The University of Toronto offers a wide variety of residence options for graduate students. Graduate House is the on-campus residence with single, premium single, and double rooms in 3,4, and 5-person apartment suites. Each suite shares a 2 to 3 washroom, a full kitchen, and a furnished living area. Regardless of your budget or lifestyle, there is sure to be a residence that meets your needs. If you are looking for a close-knit community, consider living in one of the graduate student residences. These buildings offer a supportive environment where you can meet other graduate students and make lifelong friends. If you prefer more independence, there are also a number of off-campus housing options available.
