The Most Important Part of Your Simon Fraser University Application
The most important part of your SFU application is your personal statement. In this essay, you have the opportunity to showcase your unique personality, interests, and achievements. The admissions committee uses your statement to get to know you better and determine whether you are a good fit for the university. As such, it is important to put your best foot forward and write an essay that is honest, engaging, and well-written. Be sure to proofread your essay carefully before submitting it; a well-crafted personal statement can make all the difference in the SFU admissions process.
SFU Admissions Requirements
SFU’s general admission requirements are based on your country of citizenship and whether you’re applying as a student who has studied or is currently studying in Canada, the United States, or another country. If you have any questions about SFU’s admission requirements, please contact the SFU Admissions Office for more information. As an international student, you may also be required to submit additional documents as part of your application. Please visit the SFU International website for more information. SFU will also consider your application based on your high school diploma or equivalent and your grades in specific courses, if applicable. All applicants must submit official transcripts as part of their application. For more detailed information, please refer to the SFU Admissions website. If you’re unsure whether you meet SFU’s admission requirements, we encourage you to connect with an SFU Admission Counsellor. They will be able to assess your application and provide guidance on how to strengthen your application.
