When does McMaster send acceptances?

McMasters makes offers on a rolling basis from late February into mid-May for all students. If you apply to a by-selection program, some may only make one round of offers in May. Decisions to programs not requiring a supplementary application are posted four to five weeks after your application’s requirements are marked as “completed.”

What to do while you wait?

  1. Check our Mosaic Applicant Portal for specific updates to your file or our Future Students Website for general updates. McMaster will start sending offers of admission in early March
  2. Follow McMaster Admissions (@MacAdmit) on Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook.
  3. Attend one of our virtual open house events

How will you receive your acceptance?

You will receive your decision letter on McMaster’s Applicant Portal. The system will also notify your email once the decision has been made. Decisions to programs not requiring a supplementary application are posted four to five weeks after your application’s requirements are marked as “completed.”
