Guelph Early Application and Regular Application

When does Guelph send acceptances? Well it depends on admission dates. Your admission date will vary depending on your grades. You can get an early admission offer if your admission average far exceeds the estimated cut-off range of the program of your choice.

Mark your calendars!

  • January 13, 2022: All programs – to be considered for early offers of admission.
  • January 13, 2022: Turfgrass Management – they will consider applications received after this date only as space allows. (February 15 is the deadline for supporting documents.)
  • March 1, 2022: All other programs.

Try to apply as early as possible. After you have applied, you must complete and submit supplementary documentation for specific programs.

Offers of Admission

Applicants presenting an admission average of 75% and higher will be considered for admission to all programs to which they apply.

If you are currently enrolled full-time in an Ontario secondary school, and you meet the minimum admission requirements, you will be considered for admission on an ongoing basis beginning in January.

If you are not currently enrolled full-time in an Ontario secondary school, and you meet the minimum admission requirements, you will be considered for admission on an ongoing basis as soon as all required documents are received. All documents must be received no later than April 15, 2022.

If you choose to submit the Student Profile Form (SPF), or the Supplementary Information Form for Students with Disabilities (SIF-D), this supplementary information may be reviewed and considered along with your marks in determining admission.

If your admission average in May does not meet the cut-off for the program to which you have applied, your SPF and/or SIF-D will be considered if your average falls within a discretionary range of the final cutoff (up to 5%). Although not required, you are encouraged to complete the SPF.
